Class Schedule:
12 Hour Class - Saturday 8:30am-8:30pm
20 Hour – Tuesday and Thursday 5:00pm-9:00pm
*Lunch will be provided on Saturdays.
*Rescheduling must be within 24 hours of class.
I understand that attendance of THE DUI EDUCATION CLASS is voluntary. I also understand that if I am unable to attend the class, should I fail to notify the center at least 24 hours in advance the attendance fee (First Level- $300.00 or Second Level-$600.00) will be forfeited, and to attend a future class, another class fee will be required.
I further understand that class begins at 8:30am/5:00pm sharp, and that if I arrive after that time without notifying the Center in advance, I will not be admitted to the class, and additional fees may be charged.
Group Effort is approved Prime for Life curriculum provider. Group Effort is committed to delivering prompt, professional, and non-judgmental Prime for Life DUI education classes led by certified Instructors. Upon completion, you will receive your certificate.
Prime For Life guides participants toward a meaningful understanding of how lifestyle related health problems, like those associated with alcohol and drug use, develop. This instructor-led, media-enriched course provides specific guidance regarding personal choices, the management of resistance, support for change, and planning for success. It emphasizes both the role of empathy and the importance of collaboration.
Classes cannot exceed 25 participants and must be scheduled in advance Our classes are conveniently offered during evening and weekend hours. Our evening class times are scheduled Monday-Friday between 5:00pm-9:00pm and Saturday classes are scheduled between 8:30am-8:30pm.

Policy:
The following rights must be afforded to all clients by all licensees and are not subject to modification. Clients have the right to be fully informed before or upon admission about their rights and responsibilities and about any limitation on these rights imposed by the rules of the facility. Group Effort must ensure that the client is given oral and/or written rights information that includes at least the following:
Procedure:
The information must be presented in a manner that promotes understanding by clients of their rights, and an opportunity must be given to clients to ask questions about the information. If a client who is unable to understand this information at the time of admission later becomes able to do so, they must be presented to the client at that time. If a client is likely to continue indefinitely to be unable to understand this information, Group Effort must promptly attempt to provide the required information to a parent, guardian, or other appropriate person or agency responsible for protecting the rights of the client.
Clients have the right to participate in the development of their individual program plans and to receive sufficient information about proposed and alternative interventions and program goals to enable them to participate effectively.
If residential services are provided, clients must be allowed to have free use of common areas in the facility with due regard for privacy, personal things, and the right of others.
Clients must be allowed to send personal mail unopened and to receive mail and packages which may be opened in the presence of staff when there is reason to believe that the contents thereof may be harmful to the client or others.
Clients have the right to be accorded privacy and freedom for the use of bathrooms at all hours.
At no point will a client be required or responsible for the care of another client. At no point will a client be responsible for oversight of another client. At no point can any client access any information regarding any client either at a facility or one that has attended in the past.
Clients who do not speak English have the right to have assessments and instruction in their Native language or to have the services of a state registered or state certified court interpreter, as defined by Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 42 Standards for Court Interpreters. D.U.I. client requesting services must be provided and interpreter at no additional cost to the service recipient.
In the event a client rights were abused by Adult Protective Services and/or the State office of Mental Health would need to be contacted at 1-888-277-8366.
Clients have the right to vote, buy, sell or trade real estate. Clients also have the right to be protected from neglect; from physical, verbal and emotional abuse (including corporal punishment); and from all forms of misappropriation and/or exploitation.
