We want to ensure the best outcomes for the people we provide services for. Group Effort conducts in-person evaluations with each family, where our team assesses the person’s individual needs and goals. Our mission is to help every adult in our program receive the fullest benefits possible. We do this by crafting personalized service plans tailored to each person, rather than placing them into preset categories.

At Group Effort, our staff promotes the highest level of person-supported independence. We strive to help them find their place in the community through employment opportunities and social engagement whenever possible. Our aim is for each person to experience a sense of fulfillment and self-worth through their unique contributions, whether that’s through work, volunteering, or simply enjoying meaningful time with family and friends.

"I wanted to message you both regarding Daniel’s help getting our son placed in a home. Our son was previously with SOAR, and we were not happy with all the false promises and the trouble we had with them caring for our son. We had spoken to Daniel in hopes he had something for him, but he didn’t at that time. He had remembered us and contacted us not long ago saying he finally had an opening and remembered Chase (our son). We went to visit and we immediately felt secure and confident that this was the place for Chase! Daniel spent quite a bit of time with us on the phone answering our questions and making sure we felt comfortable with the decision. Without Daniel, Chase would still be struggling and miserable. Writing an email to express to you how amazing your team is with making CLS Transitions happen. Christy goes above and beyond in making CLS transitions seamless. She thinks outside of the box, always available to discuss a member and does whatever it takes to place members in homes that are a great fit for them. Always blown away with her compassion and willingness to do anything especially when it’s last minute! On another note, Daniel Byerley has been great to work with as well. He also goes above and beyond. His love for working with our members always comes through in the work that he does.
